SOCGRAD MINI-LECTURES

President Clinton has recieved great acclaim for his visit
to China while his mean-spirited policies in Cuba go unmentioned
by both media and liberal democrats. At home, the miserable
sexual exploits of Clinton are pushed aside by feminists and
liberals alike.
My own reading of Clinton and his presidency might be a bit
different from most...in my view, Clinton recieves his acclaim
not for being President of the United States but rather for
being President of the New World Order...Tony Blair seems to
function as his Chief of Staff in rounding up support in Europe
for policies which are, ultimately, destructive of the USA as
a nation-state.
Clinton, as President of the Global World Order, has as his first
task, the liberalization of markets around the world. Freedom
to move capital, jobs, profits, and commodities from any place
in the world to any other place in the world, not excluding Rwanda,
is the neo-liberal agenda. The false peace of corporate peace is
his second great duty as PGWO.
Clinton, as President of the USA, has only to keep the domestic
peace and to see that the Dow-Jones index continues to increase.
What he does in his spare time is a matter between him, Hilary
and his God...if both turn a blind eye, they must have good reason.
China, with 1/5 of the population of the world, sits as a great
prize for national capitalists in the USA who want to be first
in that market...fast foods, soft drinks, high-tech electronics,
cinema and many other goods and services are in great demand by
workers in that expanding economy.
China, with some 600 million workers longing to be employed by
export companies, sit as grand prize in the labor market game.
Why pay auto workers in Flint an average of $18/hour when management
can pay Chinese workers and average of $18/week for the same labor?
Clinton, as CEO of the Big Seven, has as his incumbent duty [as did
Bush, Reagan and Nixon before him---Carter was a political error],
making the world safe for some 3000 Trans-national Corporations...
of which some 500 of the largest are based [for now] in the USA.
Clinton, as President of the USA and President of the New World Order,
is well-located to keep the peace. He is Commander-in-Chief of the
Only Super Power in the world...and can deploy it whereever corporate
markets, raw materials, profits and safe passage are threatened. High
tech military equipment monitor every square inch, listen to every
electronic communication, target every potential enemy and subvert
every populist government hostile to the New World Order...with the
assiduous aid of the World bank, The International Monetary Fund and
the CIA with its 'new mission.'
What if jobs are lost in the USA...the stock market thrives. What if
local industry is ruined...inflation is low. What if the tax base erodes...
cable television brings ever more movies. What if schools deteriorate...
market share increases for export firms. What if Conservatives hate the
goverment and Right Wing Militias stock pile weapons and food...money
moves around the world in cyberspace. What if the women vulnerable to
Clinton fall victim to his charm and pride of place...bourgeois feminism
thrives.
There have been two presidents who will be memorialized in the 22nd Century
if the Global World Economy can remain a Free-Market Economy; Richard
Milhous Nixon and William MiddleName Clinton. Washington, Jefferson,
Lincoln and FDR were national heroes...only that and little more.

Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Bush and Carter were sort of tran-sitional
presidents...only that and little more; in spite of efforts to memorialize
Kennedy, he was the lesser of all these in terms of either national or
transnational governance.
Kennedy will be remembered as Monsignor to Eisenhower; to his interrupted
plans to subvert Cuba and to save Vietnam from populist cum socialist
politics.
Cuba is interesting. It is very difficult to be a socialist country in a
Capitalist World Economy...Clinton's continuation of the Eisenhower/Kennedy
efforts to subvert Cuba is rational in terms of the security needs of the
New World Order. Cuba has made valient effort to serve as model for 3rd
World nation-states; its progress in health care, in education, in
agricultural diversification, in gender and racial relations are exemplar
to progressives in Latin America and to some extent, in Africa.
But it is hard to be a small socialist country in a large Globalized Market
Economy...hard currency is needed, high tech is needed, medical supplies and
equipment are needed, industrial and transportation is needed. Being client
to the defunct SSSR brings special problems; replacement of machines and
vehicles is essential since parts for Soviet equipment are hard to come by
with all the troubles in the old Soviet Bloc.
Of the 180 so nation-states in the world, most keep grudging compliance to
the US Blockade.Without Clinton and the Cuban Blockade, Cuba would still
have many problems but Clinton's keeping of the Eisenhower/Kennedy Cuban
policy is succeeding...
Cuba is beginning to adapt to market dynamics...recent issues of Granma
promote investment and vacation in Cuba. The ugly faces of Tourism have
begun to subvert 'national character' by which is meant socialist
consciousness and socialist relations. Young men and young women
prostitute themselves by the hundreds in Havana...while Castro and his
government turn a blind eye...hard currency is hard currency even if young
people, the beautiful young people of Cuba are degraded.
So...Hail to the Chief if you must; celebrate the 4th of July if you must;
turn a blind eye to Monica Lewinski and to Cuba if you must but know that
History will not...unless Clinton becomes George Washington and Thomas
Jefferson to the New World Order in the 22nd Century. Meantime, I will
not.
