The above is a typical e-mail received in request of research assistance. This site has generated a growing number of these requests. This page is our response.
When a student makes such a request we wonder about his or her research skills and motivations. At cjstudents.com "we" actually means "I" - this is not a large operation with a paid research staff.
It would be great to be able to offer research assistance. However, this assistance may be counterproductive. When a Professor or Teacher assigns a research paper the underlying belief is that the process is at least as important as the product. The process of research can be very rewarding and we believe it is an essential skill. As such, we are not going to do it for you.
However, we would like to help. The following pages are provided to assist the student/researcher in the various steps required in researching a topic and writing a research paper.
